This academic research is carried out to access the general awareness, mental state and academic difficulties among different age groups of students studying in various schools, colleges, or Universities during this lockdown period due to the COVID-19 crisis in the western regions of Uganda. An aggregate of 405 students participated in this survey. Among them 253 students are from rural regions, 59 students are from semi-urban regions and 93 students are from urban regions. This survey is classified into three sections the first section spotlights the perceptive level of students about the COVID-19 crisis, the second section emphasizes the mental state of students and the final section highlights the academic difficulties faced by the students during this lockdown period. A statistical run is deliberated with the aid of SPSS version 20 software to evaluate the significance level (P-Value less then 0.05) of each question among the localities. To reconstruct a 3D visualization from CT images of COVID-19 patients in order to improve understanding of the disease for better management and follow-up. We have retrieved CT images of 185 COVID-19 patients from the Cheikh Zaid International University Hospital in Rabat, Morocco. We then performed computer processing that allowed us to obtain a 3D visualization of these patients. In this article, we have chosen to do 3D reconstruction of three specific cases among 185 patients- Cases (A1, A2) which are negative RT-PCR patient with normal CT images.- Cases (B1, B2) which are positive RT-PCR patient with abnormal CT images.- Case (C) which is a negative RT-PCR patient with CT abnormalities.To improve our results and have a better quality of the 3D reconstruction, we used different algorithms and a specific row data processing. 3D reconstruction has a significant role in the diagnosis and management of COVID-19 patients. The quality and reliability of 3D reconstructions allow the clinician to make a quick and efficient diagnosis and avoid an eventual false negative (produced by the RT-PCR test). We suggest including chest 3D reconstruction in the patient management and prognosis evaluation.The aim of this study was to identify associations between aerobic fitness (AF) and game performance indicator (GPI) in elite football. Participants were professional football players (males, n = 16; age 23.76 ± 2.64; body height 181.62 ± 7.09 cm; body mass 77.01 ± 6.34 kg). AF testing was conducted by direct measurement and included VO2max, running speed at aerobic threshold (AeT), and running speed at anaerobic threshold (AT). The GPI were collected by the position-specific performance statistics index (InStat index). The players were observed over one competitive half-season, resulting in 82 game performances, grouped according to the positions in game defenders (n = 39), midfielders (n = 32) and forwards (n = 11). VO2max was not found to be a good discriminator of AF among different playing positions. AeT (F-test = 26.36. p = 0.01) and AT (F-test = 7.25, p = 0.01) were highest among midfielders, and lowest among forwards. No correlations were found between AF and GPI. This study confirmed that AeT and AT are better indicators of AF than VO2max in football players at different playing positions. The lack of associations between AF and GPI was discussed with regard to calculation of InStat as a GPI.As the main constituent of the largest cellular ribonucleoprotein complex, the evolutionary highly conserved major vault protein (MVP) has been proposed play vital roles in the regeneration of multiple organs. We found the regenerative capacity of heart, spinal cord and fin is preserved in mvp knockout zebrafish. Further experiments demonstrated in injured mvp knockout zebrafish, the cell death is enhanced while the transcriptome landscape is largely unchanged. These data showed MVP acts as an anti-apoptotic factor at early phase of injury response while plays a dispensable role in the regenerative programs in zebrafish.The present study aimed to determine the prevalence of hyperlipidemia and its associated factors in the students of the Faculty of Health of Universidad Santiago de Cali in 2017. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/r-hts-3.html A descriptive cross-sectional study was performed in a sample of 361 students, with an average age of 21 (16-40) years. A sociodemographic survey was conducted, and blood samples and lipid profiles were obtained. The participants were predominantly female (77%), single (92.5%), and young adults (62.3%) and with an average socioeconomic level (55.1%). The overall prevalence of hyperlipidemia was 33.8%, with the following risk values triglyceride (TG), 12.8%; hypercholesterolemia, 16.1%; high density lipoprotein cholesterol (cHDL), 15.0%; and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (cLDL), 42.2%. Using the theory of the logistic regression models and chi-square likelihood ratio tests, the factors that were significantly associated with the risk of hyperlipidemia were male sex and consumption of alcoholic beverages (P-value 0.05). (AUR), Isochrysis sp. (ISO), and Nannochloropsis sp (NAN) were studied as possible alternative feeds to well established commercial compound feeds for both rotifers (Brachionus plicatilis) and Artemia franciscana. Fatty acid (FA) composition -relative (in % of total FAs) and absolute (in mg/g dw)-was determined in order to assess their potential for providing essential FAs. The FA profiles showed relevant differences between the four feeds (compound feed and the three microalgal species), but less stark than in the feeds themselves. Whereas Isochrysis sp. was relatively rich in DHA and poor in EPA, 18.6 ± 1.7% vs 0.6 ± 0.0%, respectively, Nannochloropsis sp. had the opposite pattern, 0.2 ± 0.3% vs 28.3 ± 0.7%.
